Cori Ferguson is more than your average publicist.
A communicator by nature, she has spent much of her career engaged in the marketing and promotion of arts and culture in Canada, but it is her overall understanding of how successful communications strategies can impact sales, marketing, and business practices that takes her PR savvy to the next level.
With more than 20 years of experience working with clients like Sloan, Cowboy Junkies, Nirvana, Alanis Morrissette, Now Magazine, Artemis Records, the Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards, and the North by Northeast Music Festival, Cori takes the lessons she’s learned from promoting some of Canada and the world’s biggest talents and applies them to every project she takes on.
In addition to an impressive client list, Cori has been recognized by the International Association of Business Communicators and the IABC Canada with four global and national awards for her innovative approach to not-for-profit marketing. She currently also serves as the Director of Communications for the Hospitality Workers Training Centre.
